There are three main types of cannabis strains:
1) Sativa
Sativa strain grows in the warmer areas and does well with high levels of humidity. Some of the most common locations where you can find Sativa stairs include Southeast Asia, South America and Central America. These are tall and slender plants with light green-colored skinny leves. Their effects are centered around the mind. That is why people say that it gives them a ‘head high’. Smoking Sativa can make people better focused and more organized.
2) Indica
This strain mainly grows in the dry, harsh climate of the Middle East. These are bushy and short plants with dark green and broad leaves. The effects of Indica strain focus on the body. That is why people say that it gives them a body high. Since they are so relaxing, it is best that you use them during the night time. If you smoke them during the day, you will feel drowsy at an inappropriate time.
3) Hybrid
This strain is created by crossing an Indica and Sativa together. In some cases, they are formed from more than three different strains. Sometimes, they can be Sativa-dominant or Indica-dominant and other times, they are an even combination. The effect it will have on you will depend on the type of combination that was used.
